[Kumamoto Earthquake 2026 Support Members Recruitment]
We express our deepest sympathies to all those affected by the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake.
Building on our experience conducting fundraising activities with students across Japan during the Noto Peninsula Earthquake, NSF PROJECTs is launching a student-led fundraising support project for the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake.
We are currently seeking middle and high school students across the country to cooperate in these support activities.

- Planning and implementing school fundraising in collaboration with schools and student councils
- Planning and managing street fundraising activities in local areas
- Considering stationary donation boxes in regions where street fundraising is difficult
- Public relations, social media, and design tasks
- Operations and regional coordination, etc.
Since activities are primarily conducted through online meetings, anyone can participate from anywhere in Japan. Prior experience is not required.
■ Target & How to Participate

Statement Regarding the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake
We extend our deepest condolences to everyone affected by the Kumamoto Earthquake that occurred on July 28, 2026. We also express our profound respect to all personnel dedicated to rescue, medical, and recovery operations.
Guided by our motto "Learn. Connect. Prepare.", NSF PROJECTs is a nationwide initiative where students learn and take action regarding disaster prevention and recovery. We perceive disasters not merely as events in affected areas, but as challenges that everyone living in Japan must face.
What is required of us now is to act calmly based on accurate information provided by public institutions, without spreading speculation or unverified information. Furthermore, utilizing this disaster as an opportunity to review personal and family preparations and raise disaster awareness is a vital step toward preparing for future emergencies.
NSF PROJECTs will continue to closely monitor the situation in affected areas while providing information, promoting disaster awareness, and continuing recovery-related activities that students are uniquely equipped to do. In addition, we will consider further support for the affected areas as needed.
We sincerely pray for the safety of everyone affected and for the swift recovery and reconstruction of the region.
